Porsche UK wants to make sure that owners of its open-top models are guaranteed a great summer by offering a complimentary vehicle inspection on June 4 at participating Porsche Centres nationwide. Owners of a Porsche cabriolet will be given the service free of charge regardless of the age or model. The centers will welcome models like the 356 Speedster, 1994 968 Cabriolet, the Boxster Spyder or 911 Turbo Cabriolet. The national Porsche Cabriolet and Roadster Service Clinic will inspect the cars for free.

Owners also get the chance to attend a workshop at their local Porsche Centre together with their technician. With these Service Clinics, customers are given the information and advice to make sure that the hood folding mechanism is operating correctly and that the roof remains wind and weather-proof. There will be additional checks to maintain the safety, reliability, and performance levels of their cars. Various activities will take place at each Porsche Centre, including classic open-topped Porsche showroom displays, cabriolet roof treatment demonstrations, light refreshments, and Le Mans-themed displays. The Service Clinics will be conducted one week before the Le Mans 24 Hours race in France.

"The Porsche Cabriolet and Roadster Service Clinic follows on from the highly successful 911 Service Clinic held in October last year, during which over 500 Porsche 911s were inspected in Porsche Centres across the country over the course of the day, giving owners a chance to learn more about the intricate nature of their cars; and more recently, the Cayenne Clinic in March 2011, which attracted over 300 visitors." said the press release.
