The 2011 Qatar Auto Show was filled to the brim with the biggest names in the auto industry and the rich people that are expected to buy these expensive vehicles. It’s no wonder since offering special and limited versions of their models in the Middle East is quite profitable as there are many buyers in these regions that could afford to spend a fortune on exclusive vehicles. Porsche displayed the so-called Panamera 4S Exclusive Middle East Edition. The new Panamera features the same 4.8-liter V8 engine mated to a PDK dual-clutch transmission that powers the 4S.
It also comes with the Sport Chrono Plus package. The special features include black alloy wheels, the Carrera White exterior finish and the red leather interior. Only 66 examples of this model will be produced. To prove the authenticity of the vehicle, each model will bear a unique plaque mounted on the door sill. Deesch Papke, Managing Director of Porsche Middle East and Africa, said that this “very special model introduction” emphasizes the importance of the region. Throughout its history, Porsche has not built a vehicle previously that’s exclusive for the PME region to meet the unique demands of its customers.
