If the updated Cayenne Diesel is not the car for you, we have great news as Porsche announced today the availability of the Cayenne Turbo Powerkit. According to Porsche, the new Powerkit for the Cayenne Turbo increases the maximum output delivered by the engine by 40 hp to 540 hp. The maximum torque is also increased by 50 Nm to 750 Nm. With these numbers, the Cayenne Turbo is now capable to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.6 seconds (0.1 s quicker) and has a top speed of 176 mph (283 km/h), with 3 mph faster than the standard Cayenne Turbo. And the good news continue, because despite the power increase, the fuel consumption and emissions remain unchanged. Porsche says that with the Powerkit, the Cayenne Turbo returns 11.5 litres per 100 kilometres (24.6 mpg imp.) in the NEDC, or 270 g/km CO2.
Due to the power increase, the cooling of the brakes has been further improved. Moreover, available as a further option, Porsche offers the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), featuring larger front brake discs, now 420 mm in diameter. Vehicles equipped with this system are also available with the optional 20 inch collapsible spare wheels. Moreover, the Cayenne Turbo is also available with further cosmetic options from Porsche Exclusive such as tinted LED rear lights, Bi-Xenon headlights in black including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and quad sports exhaust tailpipes. And the goodies continue to come as Porsche Exclusive is tinted LED rear lights, Bi-Xenon headlights in black including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and quad sports exhaust tailpipes. A milled aluminium Tiptronic-S gear selector lever and new stainless steel and carbon door sill guards complete the list! Still... we have a question: if build, how many hp will the new Cayenne Turbo S have under its hood?
