SpeedART: Porsche Panamera Diesel

The PS9-300D is SpeedART's newest performance package that bundles aero add-ons with modest engine upgrades for the recently introduced Porsche Panamera Diesel. The German tuning firm starts out with the Panamera's 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 diesel that leaves the Stuttgart factory with 250-ponies and a peak torque of 550Nm (406 lb-ft) channeled to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. More...


Techart: Porsche 911 Turbo

There's fast and then there's Techart fast. The German aftermarket company that has made a name for itself in the crowded world of Porsche tuners has presented a new and more potent performance package for the current 911 Turbo [997 series]. The TA 097/T3 conversion kit for the 997 Turbo involves the installation of a sport air filter, new manifolds, the TECHART Turbo chargers VTG, high performance intercoolers as well as the an ECU upgrade and engine styling package in carbon-fibre. In factory trim, the 911 Turbo's force-fed 3.8-liter flat-six lays down 500HP and 650Nm of peak torque, and this package will bump that up to 700-horses and 880Nm (649 lb-ft).  More...

RUF Unveils Updated CTR3 with 750-Horses

Four years after the presentation of the CTR3, and it's time for Porsche tuning specialist RUF to tweak its mid-engine supercar. The newest CTR3 continues to use the Porsche 911-derived 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder boxer engine, but thanks to a series of modifications, output has been boosted from 691bhp and 890Nm (657 lb-ft) to 750bhp and 960 Nm (708 lb-ft) of peak torque. The more powerful CTR3 accelerates from standstill to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and to 125 mph (200 km) in 9.6 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 236 mph (380 km/h). Power is channeled to the rear wheels through a sequential shift 6-speed transmission and limited slip differential.  More...


Lumma Design: Porsche Cayenne

Say hello to the new Porsche Cayenne CLR 558 GT dressed up by none other than Lumma Design. The German design house’s CLR 558 GT package upgrades the appearance of the luxury SUV with a new wide body aero kit. It comprises of a redesigned, two-tone front bumper with a plethora of LEDs and fog lights, a carbon Kevlar hood with air vents, high rising side skirts, wheel arch extensions, and a restyled rear bumper housing a diffuser and three central mounted exhaust tail pipes.  More...


Schmidt Revolution: Porsche Panamera 4S

The German tuner starts with a standard Panamera 4S, which leaves Porsche’s factory with a 4.8-liter V8 engine churning out 400-horses and 500Nm of peak torque. The performance modifications, courtesy of Rennsport, include a software optimization (€990 or about US$1,443) that increase output to 425HP and 535Nm, along with a suspension module (€390 or around US$568) that lower’s the ride height by 40mm and sport exhaust system (€590 or about US$860). Geneva 2011: RUF Porsche 911 Turbo

The 2011 Geneva International Motorshow plays host to the world premiere of the RUF Rt 12 R. The latest supercar from the Porsche tuning specialist is based on the 911 Turbo having received a bevy of modifications including a engine kit that pushes the output of the 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat six from 500HP and 650Nm (700Nm with the overboost function) to 730HP and 940Nm (693.3 lb-ft) of peak torque for a top speed in excess of 370km/h (230+ mph). Anderson Germany: Porsche Panamera

Anderson Germany has just finished tidying up the details on its latest project based on the non-turbo Panamera 4S. Starting with the engine programme, a software update and a sport exhaust system that comes with a remote-controlled butterfly valve allowing the driver to control the tone, help increase the 4.8-liter naturally aspirate V8's output from 400HP to 485HP. Techart: Porsche Panamera

Seen for the first time at the Auto Zurich Car Show last December, Techart's GrandGT styling program for the Porsche Panamera is now available for sale. The tuner's box of goodies include a full carbon fiber body kit complemented by beefier alloy wheels, and a variety of cockpit modifications. The exterior styling kit starts off with a new front bumper cover with the front grill insert and splitter in carbon fiber and continues with wider front and rear fenders, side skirts, a rear bumper with a diffuser, and a deck lid spoiler.
